Since 2014 we have led the effort to help impoverished families in the town of Kananga Leyte Philippines where many people fall victim to natural disasters such as typhoons, earthquakes, floods, and tsunamis. These catastrophes leave thousands of people, many of which are children, hungry and without hope.

What We've Achieved

  • After Haiyan Typhoon in 2013 the worst Typhon ever that hit in Leyte Philippines KIANA helped provide food and clothing to the most impoverished areas.

  • 2016 1st annual footwear distribution of over 800 children from kindergarten to 6th grade.

  • 2016 school supplies distribution to 4 school districts from kindergarten to 6th grade. Over 800 children received school supplies.

  • Once a month feeding for 12 consecutive months to over 800 children.

  • 2018 one additional school added to our feeding program, bringing our new total to over 900 children.

  • Our feeding program changed from a once a month lunch program, to a weekly breakfast program.
